James Moffat scored a trio of V8 Supercar Championship points finishes in a frustratingly uncompetitive weekend in Tasmania.
Symmons Plains' long straights proved challenging for Moffat's Norton Nissan Altima, the lack of speed in a straight line leaving him to concentrate on points accumulation.
"There's not much to report, we didn't have the grunt in a straight line to compete, which meant we couldn't pass anyone, so we just had to drive around and make sure we got the points not the way I want to go racing but there was nothing we could do," James Moffat said.

After being frustrated by a Nissan Altima that wasn't responding to changes, James Moffat ended the Australian Grand Prix weekend with a much more competitive V8 Supercar after some big changes overnight.
Although Moff's fourth and final race ended in the sandtrap, the victim of someone else's accident, James had been strongly competitive throughout Sunday's event, contesting position at the front of the field.
"We'd been a genuine fifth at the time of the accident, the first time this year we'd been genuinely competitive, so it's pretty disappointing to be taken out in someone else's accident," James Moffat said.READ MORE

James Moffat's 2014 V8 Supercar season opened with a solid points haul in the Norton Hornets Nissan Altima, at the Clipsal 500 in Adelaide over the weekend.
Saturday's split two-race 250km leg saw 20th and 12th placed finishes after various delays, though in Sunday's longer single 250km leg, James finished a strong ninth after an action-packed race.
"I'm glad we got a solid points haul (from the weekend) but I was hoping for more," James Moffat said.
