WEATHER BEATEN END TO 2014 SEASON

Two race stopping rain storms did James Moffat no favours in the final events of the 2014 V8 Supercar Championship, at Sydney's Homebush track on the weekend.

Torrential downpours on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons curtailed racing, leaving Moff mid field in both races, unable to capitalise on the extra distance to improve position.

"Unbelieveable full credit to Nissan Motorsport, they are the hardest working team in pitlane. This is two years in the making," James Moffat said on the podium.
