Two race stopping rain storms did James Moffat no favours in the final events of the 2014 V8 Supercar Championship, at Sydney's Homebush track on the weekend.
Torrential downpours on both Saturday and Sunday afternoons curtailed racing, leaving Moff mid field in both races, unable to capitalise on the extra distance to improve position.
Saturday's earlier race run in dry conditions saw James finish 14th .

After second outright at the Bathurst 1000 just two weeks before, James Moffat and co-driver Taz Douglas endured a contrasting weekend on the streets of Surfers Paradise.

Norton 360 racers James Moffat and Taz Douglas overcame a huge number of challenges to finish a brilliant second in today's Bathurst 1000 epic.
In an event punctuated by safety cars and high drama, the Norton Hornet duo recovered from two trips into the fence and a frustrating lack of race pace, to score Nissan's first-ever Bathurst V8 Supercar podium.
"Unbelieveable full credit to Nissan Motorsport, they are the hardest working team in pitlane. This is two years in the making," James Moffat said on the podium.
